No doubt that technology is emerging in Pakistan, however still it will take time. Even a Master level students is not aware that how to open a .pdf file. I have seen so many students that are not aware about computer and internet. They only know how to open it and shut down it.
A fewer know about internet, but they are also limited to facebook and youtube. They don’t want to go beyond this, they don’t want to utilize the real usage of internet. They don’t do research on internet that what is going on. Why every one is writing, selling, serving etc…
All these show that still they are not aware about the real usage of internet. If Mr. Mubashir Naqvi is saying that currently 1 Million users are using Broad Internet in Pakistan. That makes no sense, this type of usage is useless.
If 22 Million target for 2013 is set, then they must also start a program through which they can aware the society about the real usage of internet.
What is the real Usage?
You can teach, learn, earn, find, buy, sell through internet. This is the real usage, this is not the real usage that watch movies, spend time on facebook, watch clips on youtube. Government have to take some steps toward technology improvement in Pakistan.
